Cheers to a Great Year of Travel!
You know what I love most about being a travel advisor? It's not the planning (though I do love that).
It's connecting with my clients after their vacation—hearing all about their trip from start to finish, whether by phone, Zoom, or over coffee.
That's when I get to hear the real stories - the ones my clients are bursting to share. The moments that didn't make it to social media. The beautiful moments – the amazing meals – when things went sideways and became unexpected highlights. The chaos that’s now a good laugh. The secret discoveries that became the best memory of the entire trip.
This past year, I've been incredibly fortunate to help create some amazing experiences:
My clients have stood in awe at the stained glass of Notre Dame and the stunning architecture of Sagrada Familia. They’ve navigated the narrow, winding roads of Tuscany and Sicily, train-hopped through Italy and Japan, and discovered the off-the-beaten-path beauty of the Azores.
Parents meeting up with their college kid studying abroad and seeing them through new eyes – as adults thriving in their own space. Grandparents connecting with grandchildren on a cross-Canada rail journey, making new friends along the way. Father-daughter hiking adventures. Father-son Caribbean escapes. Tween daughters showcasing their language skills, leading the family through Paris. A 60th wedding anniversary celebration with friends in Arizona.
Breathtaking sunsets at Arches National Park. Learning to fly fish in Colorado. A pinch-me-is-it-real full moon over the Mediterranean Sea. Scuba diving Belize's Blue Hole. Culinary adventures through food trucks in Moab, cooking classes in Paris and Michelin stars in Sicily. Marveling at wildlife from a zodiac in the Galápagos. Sleeping in a glamping tent on safari while listening to the huffing of a pride of lions.
Through it all, I get to witness the world through the eyes of the young and the young-at-heart. I get to hear about getting lost and getting found. Checking off bucket lists, stretching comfort zones, making great memories together and dreaming about where-to-next.
These conversations fill my heart. Every single one.
If you've ever wondered what it's like to work with a travel advisor, here's the truth: I'm in it for these moments. For your stories. For the magic that happens when you step out into the world.
Here’s to a great 2025 – and the stories waiting to be written for 2026.

Carcassone, France - one of the largest walled cities and castles in Europe, and a UNESCO heritage site.
Some of the original foundations date back to pre-Roman times. Today, you can walk the cities walls and towers, the narrow cobblestone streets, and imagine life during the Middle Ages!

Such a special experience to dance with the Maasai! Song of celebration and welcome. Jumping is a show of strength.
The tribe still lives their traditional lifestyle - in huts and tending to their cows, goats and sheep.

The Great Migration
The annual journey of 2.7 million wildebeest through the Serengeti up to Maasai Mara and back again. Imagine an incredible traffic jam of animals and sound stretching from the left horizon to the right horizon. The cycle continues and never stops.
When clients contact me for an Africa safari, I always include a camp which aligns to the position of the migration.
You have to experience it to believe it.
